Statutory Status

The college has statutory status of recognized institution and is affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad (INDIA).

The college of Fire Technology is affiliated to Gujarat University, Ahmedabad (INDIA) for the last five years and is being managed by Champaben Education Trust. The trust is dedicated towards promoting professionalism amongst students through education, training and research. The training is imparted to the students in a systematic way so as to bring out the best in a mankind, to transform the selected candidates into mature, balanced professionals, capable of inspiring leadership, assuming responsibilities and taking decision.


  • This is the first college affiliated to Gujarat University awarding a degree course in ( Fire & Safety ) in India. Students are coming for this course from all over India.
    The college provides great infrastructure so that students are provided with maximum exposure for practical fire fighting.

  • WPI/UMD tie up for Master Degree in fire protection & prevention.
    At present all over India there is no facilities for master's in fire field and this institute will provide Master Degree route to students for higher studies.

  • ITI (Fireman)
    First time a recognised course in fireman approved by GCVT, Employment & Training Dept of Gujarat Government.

  • Gujarat State Fire Drill Competition - 2003
    The college successfully organised a first of its kind fire drill competition in association with Gujarat State Disaster Management Authority, Gandhinagar and different Fire brigade terms from all over Gujarat participated in it.

  • A special live programme on WTC incident was created at college premises on 11th September 2002 and an effort to create awareness about terrorism was made.
